Spine Experience

The Orthofix Spine Academy provides high-quality educational courses, including both face-to-face and online training events, designed to meet the needs of today’s health care professionals and industry partners. Courses focus on spine fixation, disc arthroplasty, bone growth stimulation, and biologics. These learning experiences consist of a mix of practical hands-on sessions in the wet and dry laboratory, didactic clinical case discussions, and scientific lectures.

Located in Lewisville, TX, the U.S. Orthofix Academy is the epicenter of a dynamic learning experience. It features a seven-station bio-skills laboratory, an 18-station dry lab with workstations, and lecture rooms with audiovisual equipment. This venue enables accomplished healthcare professionals and industry partners to attend focused product and allograft training. This robust program is conducted through our Orthofix Spine and Orthofix Extremities strategic business units.

Technical Education Forums (TEFs) are offered at MTF Biologics and provide surgeons with all the information they need to make an educated decision regarding bone graft tissue selection, including hands-on demonstrations. Orthofix partners with MTF Biologics, a global nonprofit organization on the forefront of saving and healing lives through innovations in tissue and organ donation, transplantation, and research.
